Every student has a story to tell. I enjoy helping them discover their narrative and how to stand out through their personal statement and supplemental essays. I meet students where they are as writers, and I take pride in helping them find their voice and become more concise and thoughtful about their words. When students are done with their college admissions journey, our work together will have helped prepare them for the rigors of college writing, easing their transition.

I wrote professionally for 13 years and have had over three hundred articles published in newspapers and magazines. I have worked with hundreds of families through the college admissions process and edited over 1000 college essays. In my spare time, I enjoy yoga, gardening, hiking and acting in local theatre. I have been happily married for 27 years and have two daughters.
